Chief Investment Officer

Born in Sant Martí Sarroca in 1979, he joined Alkimia Capital in 2017 as Chief Investment Officer (CIO)

His professional career has been developed mainly in the Andorran Bank Crèdit Andorrà (2005-2017), taking different roles linked to the asset management for the costumers of the bank. The most recent one has been as head of the third-party fund and alternative investments, leading a team of managers and analysts in charge of finding the best choice in each category of mutual funds and ETFs, as well as managing the discretionary portfolios offered to the clients.

Lately his dedication was also focused on alternative assets, mainly Private Equity funds.

He had worked in Spain first at Caixa Penedès as a quantitative asset manager and after in Banc Sabadell, where he began his professional career in the Internal Audit department.

He studied Statistics at the “Universitat Politèncica de Catalunya” (UPC) and studied a Quantitative Finance Master at the same university. He was one of the first CAIA charterholder worldwide, being also a teacher of the certification at the “Institut d’Estudis Financers” (IEF) in Barcelona and the “Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles” (IEB) in Madrid
